Anne Eleanor Sara, 70, of Hot Springs Village, Arkansas passed away March 26th, 2025. She was born June 3, 1954 in Cleveland, Ohio, and was lovingly adopted by Thomas Stephens and Eleanor Bookmeyer Stephens.
Anne graduated from Magnifcat Girls' Catholic High School in 1972. She married Joseph Sara on June 6th, 1981, and together they built a life filled with laughter, cruises, and countless dogs.
To know Anne was to know someone who loved fiercely, gave selflessly, and brought energy into every room she entered, A true firecracker, she never shied away from speaking her mind but always did so with warmth and wit. She has a natural ability to make everyone feel welcomed, valued, and understood, and she never hesitated to put others before herself.
Anne's belly laugh, which could be heard across the lake, was a hallmark of her vibrant spirit. She had a distinct sense of style, often seen in leopard prints and purple, which reflected her bold and unapologetic personality. Sunshine really followed her everywhere she went, as her radiant energy made every room brighter.
Anne had a deep love for angels and the beach, finding joy in the simple things in life. Whether she was unwinding with HGTV, crafting jewelry, or enjoying time with friends, she always embraced the moment. Her dedication to helping animals was evident through her volunteer work with FluffyButts Rescue Resort, where she cared for dogs rescued from puppy mills.
Above all, Anne treasured her time with her family. She poured her heart into every moment spent with them, whether it was playing board games at the table or having snacks in the front room of the Marion condo. Her family was her world, and they will forever hold close the warmth of her love and the many special moments they shared.
Anne was preceded in death by her father, Thomas Stephens; mother, Eleanor Stephens. She is survived by her beloved husband Joseph; her son Evan, his wife Lisa, and his daughter Alessandra; Her son Ian, his wife Shealynn, and their children Kaelon and Myla; her brother Jim and his wife Linda, and her many nieces.
A celebration of Anne's life will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 29th at Caruth-Village Funeral Home in Hot Springs Village, Arkansas.
Though Anne may no longer be with us in body, her laugh, her style, and the sunshine she brought into every room will forever be remembered by all who knew her.
