Samuel James Haddad 83
Loving Son. Husband, Father, Grandpa
Sam passed away on October 21, 2025 in Hot Springs, AR after a long battle with Parkinson's.
He enjoyed his Rock Steady Boxing group and would encourage anyone to keep trying. He was born in Chicago on July 24,1942 and lovingly raised by Saad and Esther Haddad. Sam was a veteran of the US Army 1964-1967. He was a Flight Operation Specialist working with Huey helicopters. He worked after his military service with TWA airlines as a gate and ticket agent for 42 years. He took pride in his family, always making sure family, friendship and time together came first.
He is survived by his loving wife Julie (Judy) of 58 years, their 5 children- Phillip (Brenda), Julianne (Paul), Jennifer (Lee), Daniel (Dacia) and David (Gretchen). His 14 grandchildren, Katie, Jay, Leo, Jack, Dylan, Matthew, Luke, David, Daniel, Sam, Clara, Hannah, Emma, and Kate were a great source of joy and pride in his life and together they will have a celebration of life in the summer.
His memory will be cherished. A good man, a sense of humor, strong work ethic, and "attention to detail". Sam loved cruising in his 64 Chevy Impala SS, his collections of metal soldiers and tanks, chocolate and burger runs with his friend Bill.
There will be a memorial mass at Sacred Heart of Jesus Church on Balearic on November 7th at 11:00 am.
Donations may be made to the Michael J. Fox Parkinson's Fund or Sacred Heart of Jesus Church.
