Anne Simas of Albertson, NY passed away October 5, 2024. Anne was born in Brooklyn on November 13, 1931. She married Anthony (predeceased) in 1957 and had three wonderful children, Robert and his wife Connie of Port Jefferson Station, Susan (predeceased) and her husband Bill of Hauppauge, and Stephen engaged to Marianne of Albertson. She was a devoted Grandmother to Jon, Marysa and her Husband Enjie, Alexandra, Scott, Joseph, Nicole, Maria, Michael, and Laura. Anne was a cherished Great Grandmother to Hudson and Delancey.
Throughout her life, Anne committed herself to her family, to helping others, to volunteering in her community, and to her career as an administrative assistant in the Grants Department of the Henry Viscardi School. An avid cook who loved to crochet, hike, draw, and travel, she was never at a loss for words and so quick to make a joke and light up a room.
She was grounded by her faith and has enriched the lives of countless people. Anne will be greatly missed, but never forgotten by the many, many, lives she touched. Her naturally warm and inviting smile will continue to inspire minds and comfort hearts.
