Anneliese (Heinickel) Heger, of South Easton, passed away on May 4, 2025. She was 89. Born and raised in Germany, Anneliese has lived in Randolph, Centerville, East Bridgewater, and South Easton, throughout her life. In her early years, she enjoyed sewing, knitting and her flowers but more recently could be found feeding the birds. She was happiest when surrounded by her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will be fondly remembered and deeply missed.
Beloved wife of 49 years to the late Robert A. Heger. Devoted mother of Dennis Heger and his wife Marguerite of North Carolina, Caroline Stuart and her husband Robert of Abington, Diane Gill and her late husband Neil of Taunton, Jeff Heger and his wife Karen of Hanover and Kim Connor of Plymouth. Cherished Grandma of Sean and Patrick Cooney, Steven Gill, Kellie Bach, Lindsey Underhill, Chelsea Frizzell, Tabitha Curtis, Shane Heger, Brian Connor, Alex Heger, Kaitlin Connor, and Robert Heger. Great-Grandma of 8. Loving sister of Ursula DeNazario of Sandwich and predeceased by her brother Karl and sister Ingebord. Also survived by multiple generations of nieces and nephews.
Burial in Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne will be private. Donations in memory of Anneliese may be made to the MSPCA-Angell, Attn: Donations, 350 South Huntington Ave, Boston, MA 02130.
