Annette Thompson Archer, 82 of Cumming, GA passed away April 16, 2024, with her loving family by her side. Annette was born in Atlanta, GA to the late Vernon and Mildred Bentley Thompson. Annette was of the Baptist faith.

Annette was the oldest of six siblings that she loved dearly along with many nieces and nephews. She loved big family gatherings where often an impromptu softball game or a tag football game would begin, bringing out her inner cheerleader. Annette was always our biggest fan, no matter how big or small the accomplishment may be. Those who ever gathered at her table would agree that she was the best southern cook. Her table always brought joy and delicious dishes, no recipe necessary. Annette's adventures traveling and green thumb at home always kept her smiling. Annette was a proud and dedicated member of the Ladies Auxiliary to the VFW Post 9143 for many years. Annette's love for her children and grandchildren knew no bounds - she truly was the best Mom and Granny! She was generous and loving to all that knew her. She had a strong faith in God and would often speak of how she could never make it through this life without Him.

Annette was preceded in death by her loving husband of 54 years, Perry Archer; sons, Kenneth Ray Taylor and Larry Michael Taylor. She is survived by her daughter and son in-law, Lynn and Mark Vincent; son and daughter in-law, David and Stacy Archer; grandchildren, Christopher Vincent(Hannah), Katherine Archer, Anna Vincent Brumbelow (Kolton), Maddie Vincent, Caroline Archer; brother, Danny Thompson; sister, Peggy Gurley (Clyde); many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 11:30 am Saturday, April 20, 2024 in the chapel of Ingram Funeral Home with Pastor Scott Gilbert. The family will receive friends Saturday, April 20, 2024 from 9:00 am until service time at Ingram Funeral Home, 210 Ingram Avenue, Cumming, GA 30040.
