She was born December 2, 1919 in Chicago, Illinois the oldest daughter of Stephen and Anna (Scavuzzo) Donato.
Annette grew up in Chicago, she graduated from Lucy Flower Technical School in Garfield Park and later went to the School of Design in Chicago. In 1947 she married Louis Kasper. In 1952 she opened a children's clothing store, the Baby Store on Milwaukee Ave in Chicago. She later expanded into women's clothing and renamed the store The Baby Store and Terrace Shop. After selling the business in 1985, she and her husband retired and built a new house in the Windings of St. Charles. She attended St. Patrick's Church and was active in the Prime Timers club.
Annette was a pioneering woman successfully starting and running her independent clothing store for 33 years all while keeping her family the center of her life.
Annette is survived by her son, Terrence Randall (Jill) Kasper, granddaughters, Laura Seiler (William), Lisa and Sara Kasper, great grandson Ethan Seiler, and sister, Dolores Lippo.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, her parents and sibling Therese Brown-Bradford.
The funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 A.M Thursday September 7th at St. Patrick Crane Road Church 6N491 Crane Road St. Charles Illinois. Burial will be private. Visitation will be from 4 to 8:00 P.M. Wednesday September 6 at the Yurs Funeral Home 405 E. Main St. St. Charles. Contributions may be made to Gentiva Hospice 85 West Algonquin Rd.
