Cress Funeral & Cremation Service - Sun PrairieJudith J. Kasper, age 88, died surrounded by her loved ones, at home on October 23 , 2025. She was born on Wednesday, August 18, 1937 to Gilsey and Josephine Grabbert in Madison, Wi. She was married to the love of her life, Roger W. Kasper, on September 19, 1959.
Judy was a graduate of Edgewood High School and attended UW Madison. She worked at the Department of Registration before becoming a homemaker for many, many years. She then worked at Oscar Mayer doing clerical work for 11 years. Then she worked for American Greetings until retirement.
While at home, Judy devoted quality time volunteering at her kids school and attending all of their after school activities. She was an active volunteer member of the Oscarettes, The READI group, Second Harvest, and Ironman. She was always putting everyone else before herself and loved volunteering and helping others.
Judy and Roger spent many days and evenings at the bowling alley. She enjoyed shopping, but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family. She especially loved when the grandkids and great-grandkids would come over. She spoiled them every time they would visit.
Judy is survived by her children Linda (Wally) Wilson, Sandi (Larry) Snyder, and Scott Kasper, all of Sun Prairie; grandchildren Erica (Simon) Helyer of California, Jessica (Tony) Donat of Birnamwood, Kaitlynn (Alex) Kassner of Suamico, Lawson (Erynn) Snyder of Deforest, and Stephanie (Nathan) Peterson of Suamico; great grandchildren Ava, Kale, Lewis, Hailey, Owen, Josephine, Claira, Mason, Remington, and Lucas.
Judy is preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Roger.
Funeral Services will be held at 11AM on Friday, November 7, 2025 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 221 Columbus Street, Sun Prairie, WI. A visitation will take place from 10AM until the time of mass.
