Annette Smith "Iris" Maxwell

Annette "Iris" Smith Maxwell has gone to be with her Lord and Maker on February 21, 2025 at her home. She was born on November 8th, 1948 in Jackson, TN. Her parents were Wanda Lee Smith and Hayes L Smith. She has two siblings, Larry Smith Jr. and Nannette Kuhn.
Annette graduated from Melbourne High School in Melbourne, FL., as well as earning her Beautician's license from Travis Votech in Lakeland, FL later in life fulfilling a long life's dream of hers.
She enjoyed crocheting blankets for all her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, spending time at the beach with family and vacationing at her cabin in Tennessee.
Annette is survived by her children Christie Ireland, Michelle Huisingh (Aaron), and Jessica Copley (Ronnie). Her grandchildren Megan Harvey, Shawn Harvey, Cory Ireland (Dakota), Cameron Coe, Caitlin Morris (Levi), Tristan Huising (), Bryan Huisingh, Eliana Huisingh, Kyra Huisingh, Rebekkah Huisingh, Micah Huisingh, Garrett Huisingh, Lillian Huisingh, Malachi Neher, Peris Neher, Luman Copley, and Tamzin Copley, Mason Copley, Madison Copley. Her great grand-children Layla Dunn, Waylon Dunn, Lillie Dunn, Serenity Tyler, Everleigh Harvey, Shawn Harvey Jr., Liam Ireland, Elliott Ireland, Isabel Ireland, Arianna Coe, Chad Coe, Cleo Morris, Cadell Morris, and Cian Morris, Ally Copley. Her Siblings Larry Smith and Nannette Kuhn. And not to forget her beloved cats Sparky and Cuddles.
Services will be held on Friday February 28th 2025 at Lakeland Funeral Home, 2125 South Bartow Hwy. Lakeland, FL 33801
Visitation 1PM - 2PM, Service 2PM.
Reception to follow at 483 Garden Dr. N, Lakeland FL 33813.
