Annette Taylor (née Burton) was born on March 25, 1941, in Somerset, Kentucky, and passed away peacefully at her home in Crosby Township on March 26, 2025, surrounded by love and family.
A devoted mom, Mamaw, and G.G., Annette's greatest joy in life was her family. She is lovingly survived by her sons, John (Mary) Taylor and Rick (Nikki) Taylor. She was the proud grandmother of Katie Miller, Bethany Owens, Kelsey Curd, Josh Taylor, David Owens, Jake Taylor, J.C. Taylor, Sadie Taylor, and Will Taylor. Her legacy continues through her 13 great-grandchildren: Kaden Taylor, Sophie Sinclair, Georgia Curd, Millie Curd, Mason Owens, Capri Curd, Kinsley Miller, Eloise Taylor, Kaia Curd, Elsie Taylor, Baylor Owens, Adaline Taylor, and Madison Owens, who preceded her in death.
Annette was reunited in heaven with her beloved husband, J.C. Taylor; her children, Ronald (Linda) Taylor and Teresa (Dale) Owens; her parents, Marshall and Lula Burton; her great-granddaughter, Madison Owens; and her eight siblings—four brothers and four sisters—whom she cherished dearly.
She retired from the Cincinnati Container Company in 2003 after many years of dedicated service. Known for her strong work ethic, kind heart, and quiet strength, Annette had a way of making everyone feel at home. Her famous homemade peanut butter fudge was a treasured family favorite—sweet, comforting, and made with love, just like her.
Her laughter at family functions was unmistakable—warm, contagious, and always followed by a smile that lit up the room. She brought joy and togetherness wherever she went, creating memories that will be held close for generations to come.
Her memory will forever live on in the lives she touched—through every bite of that fudge, every shared story, and every moment spent together.
