Annie Rosie Fails, was born March 26, 1933 in Dothan, Alabama to parents, Cleveland and Annie Tinsley Ward. She was educated in the schools of Dothan. Later, she married Elijah Fails, Sr. and moved to Groveland, Florida in 1951, where she gave birth to twelve (12) beautiful children.
Being a family woman and mother was her crowning achievements. She would often describe her children as a bouquet of flowers, because they were all uniquely different.
Rosie, as she was affectionately called by family and friends, was outgoing, friendly, classy, and peaceful. She had a smile for everyone she met.
Rosie loved to cook, which garnered her the nickname "Biscuit". She also loved to sew, sing, and travel. She has traveled many towns, states, and all over the world. Some her of traveling experiences took her to Mexico, Michigan, Alabama, California, and other places.
Rosie worked as a nurse at South Lake Hospital and was a caregiver until she retired.
On June 27, 2024, Jesus said, "Rosie, I see how tired you are and a cure is not to be, so come on home with me my good and faithful servant."
Annie Rosie Fails was preceded in death by her 2 sons, Charlie James Fails and Limmie James Fails.
Left to cherish her memory are ten (10) of her twelve (12) beautiful children, 7 Sons: Elijah Fails, Jr. of Orlando, Florida, Lewis Fails (Kaziko) of San Diego, California, Ronnie Fails of Minneapolis, Minnesota, Danny Fails of Groveland, Florida, Norris Fails (Destiny) of Orlando, Florida, Andre Davis of Groveland, Florida, and James Fails (Gloria) of Leesburg, Florida; 3 Daughters: Annie Fails of Orlando, Florida, Mary Fails of Orlando, Florida, and Elizabeth Fails of Clermont, Florida; Brother, Peter Ward of New Jersey; 17 Grandchildren, 14 Great Grandchildren, 7 Great-Great Grandchildren, 2 Great-GreatGreat Grandchildren; and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, other loving relatives, and friends.
