Annie Malkey

Annie Malkey, 93, passed into the arms of her Lord and Savior on March 4, 2026. Annie was born on June 1, 1932 in Brenham, Texas to Louis and Matilda Herrmann.

Annie was baptized on June 20,1947 and confirmed July 20, 1947. On December 23, 1951 she married the love of her life, Leroy Malkey and they shared 42 years together before his passing in 1993. Leroy and Annie shared one child together, Dennis Malkey and he was their pride and joy. Annie worked hard next to Leroy on their farm but was good at a lot of her own things such as gardening, growing the best vegetables and growing and tending to flowers and plants. Her family remembers her being the best cook and having just a smorgasbord of food at family meals but her apple and peach pies being the best of the best! Annie is also remembered as always being pleasant and being interested in what was going on in your life before telling you about what was happening in hers. She was a special lady that will be missed by many.

A visitation for Annie will be held on Monday, March 9, 2026 from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Memorial Oaks Chapel located at 1306 West Main Street, Brenham, Texas. A funeral service will be on Tuesday, March 10, 2026 at 10:00 am at St. Paul Lutheran of Rehburg located at 4450 FM 1948, Burton, Texas with Rev. Alvin Luedke officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
