Mother Annie Louise (Tatum) McGee, 84 of Jupiter, FL, went home to be with the Lord in the comfort of her home, surrounded by the tears and love of her caring family.
She was born in Americus, GA to the parents of the late Joe Tatum and the late Ida Pearl Mott Tatum on July 9, 1938.
Mother McGee was a very loving person, and her smile would light up your darkest day. She loved her family and was a devoted wife, a loving grandmother and a friend who you could always depend on.
She was a faithful member of the Jupiter Church of God until her health began to fail, and she served her church as a member of the Mother's Board, Mother of the church, president of the Usher Board and she was active in her community.
Mother Annie L. McGee was preceded in death by; her parents Joe and Ida Tatum; a daughter, Jackie McGee; and brothers, Robert Tatum and Joseph Tatum.
She is survived by; a loving husband, Earl McGee, Sr. of Jupiter, FL, 3 caring sons, Earl McGee, Jr. (Sharon) of Palm Beach Gardens, FL, Ernest McGee (Annette) of Jupiter, FL and Otis McGee (Fatima) of Port St. Lucie, FL; a devoted daughter, Sylvia McQuitter (Tyrone) of Port St. Lucie, FL; 4 brothers, Frank Tatum (Ruth), Grady Tatum (Pearl), Emmitt Tatum, Donnie Tatum, all of Jupiter, FL; 6 sisters, Pearline Hatcher of Cocoa Beach, FL, Verline Smith of Jupiter, FL, Josephine Moore of West Palm Beach, FL, Linda Tatum of Minnesota, Connie Eutsey (Lee) of Fort Pierce, FL, and Irma Tatum of Jupiter, FL;16 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren; 3 godchildren including, Theresa Clayton Edge Anderson of West Palm Beach, FL, and Terrell Beasley (Kathy) of Port St. Lucie, FL; and a host of other relatives including, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who will miss her.
Final arrangements have been entrusted into the care of Thorne's Mortuary in Stuart, FL.
