Bea Vandiver

BEA VANDIVER
Pinson, TN: Annie Beatrice Vandiver age 89 passed away November 5, 2025, at her home.
She was born April 19, 1936, the daughter of the late Charles M. and Cora Nell Malone Skinner. She grew up and attended school in Deanburg.
She married Eddie Junior Vandiver in 1950 and they raised four children. She worked for thirty-two years at International Paper in Jackson. After retirement she opened Busy Bea's Antique Mall in Pinson for a time. Then continued her booth at Brays Furniture and Antique Mall.
She loved playing Bingo at the Senior Center in Henderson every Wednesday. She collected salt and pepper shakers for many, many years and had over 1500 sets. She also collected Fenton glass ware.
She enjoyed coloring books for seniors, going to yard sales and going on trips.
She was a faithful member of the Pinson Baptist Church and was loved by everyone.
She was an excellent cook and enjoyed time with her family.
Mrs. Vandiver is survived by a son, Eddie Wade Vandiver of Finger and two daughters, Teresa Gaugh of Pinson and Sherry Rene Lonon of Finger a daughter-in-law, Regina Vandiver of Finger and a brother, Larry Skinner of Deanburg.
Six grandchildren, Brent Vandiver, Shaun Vandiver, Benjamin Osborne, Amber Mullins, Christopher Osborne and Brooke Liggett; twelve great grandchildren, Drew Vandiver, Carson Vandiver, Riley Vandiver, Corbin Vandiver, Oakley Vandiver, Gracie Parker, Logan Russell, Mylei Russell, Kaleb Liggett, Lily Liggett, Kaily Osborne and Orion Osborne; two great-great grandchildren, Collins Vandiver, Nellie Parker and one on the way.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Roger Dale Vandiver and a sister, Doris Wooley, and a partner of twenty years, Max Hinson.
Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Thursday, November 13th at Shackelford Funeral Directors – Crook Avenue. Burial will follow at Rogers Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Crook Avenue 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Wednesday.
