Anourack Rintharamy Obituary

In Loving Memory of a Cherished Husband Remembering a Life Well-Lived and Deeply Loved It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of a beloved husband/father/brother/nephew/cousin and friend whose life was a testament to kindness, humor, and unwavering devotion. Anourack "Rock" Rintharamy was born in Vientiane, Laos on April 7, 1973. He was the youngest son of 7 children to Mr. Bounma and Mrs. Bangone Rintharamy. He was 52 years old, when passed away peacefully on July 4, 2025 at Novant Presbyterian Hospital with his beloved wife Neth by his side. His journey battling recurrent Diffused Large B Cell Lymphoma Cancer, though now complete, left an indelible mark on the hearts of all who knew him. Rock is survived by his beloved wife Neth, daughter Taylor Rintharamy, son Jordan Rintharamy, all 6 older siblings and their spouses: Jean-Michel Rintharamy (brother), Savangvanh Pannhasith (sister), Pam Phonvichith, Charles Rintharamy (brother), Douang Rintharamy (brother), and Chantu Rintharamy (brother), 6 nieces: Nina Rintharamy, Lea Pannhasith, Panida Garraut, Chloe Rintharamy, Mimi Sykhounmeuang and Alisa Sykhounmeuang, 8 nephews: Bobby Rintharamy, Noa Rintharamy, Patrick Pannhasith, Arnold Rintharamy, Maxime Rintharamy, Garin Tiger Rintharamy, Colby Rintharamy and Casey Rintharamy. Today, we gather in spirit and in words to celebrate a life richly blessed and beautifully lived. A Life Begun in Promise From his earliest days, he exuded warmth and curiosity-a spark that would grow into a lifelong passion for learning, laughter, and love. Rock loved playing every sports such as Little league baseball, basketball, soccer and golf. Whether surrounded by family in his childhood home or venturing out into the wider world, he brought a lightness of spirit and generosity of heart wherever he went. Friends recall his youthful exuberance, his readiness to lend a helping hand, and the infectious joy that seemed to follow him. Rock was a extraordinary natural athlete who still holds an unbeatable record of 93 goals in his Torrington High School career, where he started as varsity soccer player from 1988-1991. He continued his soccer career into college at Quinnipiac University where he graduated with his Bachelor in Finance. Devoted Partner and Husband Among his many roles, perhaps the most cherished was that of a devoted husband. His love story began with a chance encounter-one that blossomed into a deep and enduring partnership. Rock and Neth first met in 1992 at a mutual friend's college graduation party. In 1996, they began casually dating while trying to figure life out as young adults who were navigating balance of work and relationship while Neth attended college in New York at Pace University and Rock worked in Connecticut. They fully committed to each other in 2001 after September 11th, when Neth relocated back to Connecticut and they began their lives living together. Together, every day was an adventure, whether spent traveling distant roads or savoring the quiet comforts of home. Theirs was a marriage built on mutual respect, shared dreams, and a profound sense of companionship. In 2002, Rock was diagnosed with Diffused Large B Cell Lymphoma and successfully beat this cancer after 6 months of treatment. Through seasons of joy and challenge alike, he remained steadfast-a source of strength, solace, and laughter. In 2005, they were surprised and blessed with their first born daughter Taylor Rintharamy, who he said saved his life. After experiencing cancer at such a young age, Rock did not think he would have a long life and lived everyday to the fullest until she was born. He lived life with love and intense purpose for her and was the best daddy to his baby girl and enjoyed fatherhood so much. Their family was completed when their precious baby boy Jordan Rintharamy was born in 2009. He dedicated his time as loving father who was always present with each children from school drop offs, dance recitals, piano lessons, soccer games, being the uber for their social events, drop offs and picking up Taylor from work and teaching Jordan how to drive this year. He created a loving family who enjoyed traveling, visiting families and friends all over the world. He took nothing for granted and made every second of the day with each person counted. A Legacy of Kindness He was a man who believed that kindness was not merely a virtue but a calling. Throughout his life, he sought out opportunities to lift others. Whether volunteering within the community, offering guidance to those in need, or sharing a simple smile with a stranger, he made the world a warmer, gentler place. Neth was offered a great opportunity in her career to relocate to Charlotte, North Carolina 2014. Rock took a lower offer to plan the transition for their family in March 2014 in Charlotte while Neth and the children finished the school year out in June 2014. He exemplified love and devotion to everyone while traveling every weekend for the next 3 months to be with his families and friends in Connecticut. Rock continued progressing in his financial career until his final role at Bank of America. Friends and family alike were touched by his willingness to listen, his wise counsel, and his unfailing generosity. A Life of Purpose His professional journey was marked by diligence, creativity, and integrity. He approached every task with a sense of responsibility and pride, inspiring colleagues and peers with his work ethic and vision. Beyond titles or accolades, his true legacy was the respect he earned and the lives he touched. Rock gradually built his own community where he and a group of great friends started an organization for the love of golf and community involvement known as The North Carolina Asian Golf Association. Through love of golf, our team was able to help bring avid golfers from all over the country to raise funds and give back to various charity programs such as the Youth programs in NC, Catastrophic programs, school materials to the poor in Laos and contributing fundings for the Lincolnton temple. He remained a humble leader, never seeking the spotlight but always elevating those around him. Passions and Joys Away from the demands of work, he found joy in many pursuits. An avid golfer and lifelong learner, he was always eager to uncover new ideas and share discoveries with loved ones. He cherished time spent on the golf course, relishing walks through the neighborhood or quiet afternoons at his home. Music, art, and laughter filled his days, and he delighted in simple pleasures-a well-told story, a home-cooked meal, the company of friends. Family Above All His devotion to family was unwavering. As a husband, his love was a constant-steady, compassionate, and endlessly patient. He celebrated his partner's triumphs, provided comfort in moments of sorrow, and embraced each day as a gift to be shared. Together, they built a home filled with love, laughter, and memories that will endure. To his children and extended family, he was a source of wisdom, encouragement, and boundless affection. His stories, lessons, and gentle humor created a legacy that will be cherished for generations. Friendship and Community He valued friendship deeply, cultivating bonds old and new with sincerity and grace. Whether over a cup of coffee or during long conversations into the night, he listened with empathy and responded with insight. His presence brought comfort and ease, and his absence will be felt by many. As a member of his community, he was a quiet force for good. His volunteerism, support for local causes, and willingness to lend a hand touched countless lives. Neighbors recall his warm greetings and the way he made everyone feel welcome. Enduring Love and Remembrance Though he has departed from this world, the memory of his love, laughter, and light remains. Those who knew him are united in gratitude for the time shared and the lessons learned. As we mourn his loss, we also celebrate the fullness of his life-the depth of his character, the breadth of his compassion, and the joy he brought to so many. Let us honor his memory by carrying forward the kindness he showed, the love he gave, and the hope he inspired. In the quiet moments and in the shared stories, he lives on-in hearts and memories, forever cherished and never forgotten. A Final Farewell There are no words to ease the ache of loss, nor to capture fully the depth of a life so beautifully lived. Yet, in the tapestry of memories left behind, we find comfort and hope. We bid farewell to a beloved husband, father, brother, nephew and friend with heavy hearts, but also with gratitude for the gift of his presence in our lives. May his soul rest in peace, and may his legacy of love continue to shine bright in all who were fortunate to have known him. Though gone from sight, he remains ever present in spirit-a guiding light, a cherished friend, and an enduring love. With deepest love and remembrance, we say goodbye, certain that his story will live on in the hearts of all who held him dear.
