Anthony Terrell Adams Sr. 53, was a loving father, beloved son, brother, uncle, grandfather and dear friend. He was born June 13th,1971 in St. Louis, MO to Bennie Adams Jr. and Caroline M. Adams. He transitioned to eternal rest on Wednesday, March 12th, 2025.
Anthony accepted the lord as a child and was a member of Palestine Missionary Baptist Church, having been baptized in his faith. Anthony was raised in Kansas City, MO and graduated from Central High School. He was a man of many trades, always eager to learn and master new skills. In his last Profession he excelled as a product inspector at Salvajor.
Anthony’s heart belonged to his family and friends. A man whose warmth and unwavering Love and dedication to his family and friends left an everlasting impact on anyone he met.
Anthony Adams met Trena Hightower and was blessed with his first and only son Anthony Adams Jr. at the age of 29. During his time with Trena he gained three bonus children: Markelia, Trinea, and Stephon. He later married Sarah Adams and was gifted two step children, Damon and Davoe that he also loved as his own
As a child, Anthony loved playing football, baseball, and boxing and spending quality times with his brothers. He carried that same energy into adulthood, where he was known as a protector, a man full of love and kindness. His favorite saying, “Everybody go night night!!”, was always spoken with humor and affection, bringing laughter to those around him.
He is preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents, and brother Marlon Goodman.
Anthony’s life will be cherished by his son Anthony Adams Jr.(Taiesha Chairs), and his grandson: Amiri’z Adams.. His loving Parents:Bennie Adams Jr and Caroline Adams. His siblings: Lorenzo Adams(Keetra Adams), Brandon Mayberry. His nieces and nephews: Shakayla, A’yani, Lakiyah, Kelon, Brandon Jr., Lorenzo II, Great nephews: Naseir and Sir’Meir. And one more bonus child he Loved: Darnell Sr.
Funeral Services for Anthony Terrell Adams Sr. will be held on Friday March 21, 2025, visitation will be held from 10:30 A.M.- 11:30 A.M. with services beginning 11:30 A.M. at Golden Gate Funeral & Cremation Services, LLC 2800 E 18th st., Kansas City, MO 64127.
Interment : XII GATES MEMORIAL GARDENS
