Anthony W. Angelozzi

1939 - 2023

Anthony William Angelozzi, 84, of Washington Township, passed away Saturday, Oct. 28, 2023, in QLS-West Haven Manor, Washington Township. Born May 28, 1939, in Vandergrift, he was a son of the late Anthony Angelozzi and Angeline (Quarato) Angelozzi. Anthony was a graduate of Vandergrift High School, and worked as a draftsman at Epic Metals for many years until his retirement in 2013. He was a member of St. Gertrude Roman Catholic Church. Anthony enjoyed golfing, skiing and camping. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret L. "Peggy" (Bernat) Angelozzi, who passed away Dec. 17, 2022; infant son, Nicolas Anthony Angelozzi; and infant grandchildren, Madeline, Keagan and Dimitri Angelozzi. Anthony is survived by his sons, Christopher A. (Sonia) Angelozzi, of Salinas, Calif., and Dominic M. (Tanya) Angelozzi, of Leland, N.C.; grandchildren, Korina Angelozzi, Maria Angelozzi, Giovanna Verdin and Giovanni Verdin; and his cousins, Romaine Tacznosky, of Colorado, and Linda Holetich, of Freeport. Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, Nov. 6, 2023, in the CURRAN-SHAFFER FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY INC., 100 Owens View Ave., Apollo. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 7, 2023, in St. Gertrude Roman Catholic Church, 303 Franklin Ave., Vandergrift, with Father Alan Polczynski as celebrant. Everyone please meet at church. Private burial will be in St. Gertrude Cemetery.
