Anthony P. Ariniello, a cherished father, grandfather, son, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully on November 5, 2024, in Mahopac, NY, at the age of 65. Born on April 22, 1959, to Peter and Rosalie (Palmisiano) Ariniello, Anthony's life was one marked by dedication, service, and a profound love for his family and country.
Anthony was a proud veteran of the United States Navy and member of the VFW Post 5491 in Mahopac, a testament to his unwavering patriotism and sense of duty. After serving his country with honor, he channeled his discipline and work ethic into his entrepreneurial spirit, founding Perfection Detection Security Systems in Somers, NY. His business not only flourished due to his commitment to excellence but also became a well-respected establishment within the community.
Anthony's love for life was infectious, and his interests were as diverse as they were passionate. An avid fan of the New York Yankees, Rangers, and Giants, he shared his enthusiasm for sports with friends and family, creating lasting memories at games and gatherings. His adventurous spirit often led him outdoors, where he found joy in fishing, golfing, and riding his motorcycle, embracing the freedom and thrill each activity offered.
Above all else, Anthony's greatest love, after his children, was his dogs. They were his loyal companions, and the bond they shared was a testament to his kind and caring nature.
Anthony's legacy is carried on by his loving family: his son Michael and his wife Dora; his daughter Nicole Brunetti and her husband Stephen; his cherished grandchildren Nolan, Charlotte, and Giavanna; his parents Peter and Rosalie Ariniello; and his siblings John Ariniello and Susan Beirholm. Each of them will hold onto the memories of his adventurous spirit, his laughter, and the wisdom he imparted.
The word "adventurous" best encapsulates Anthony's approach to life. He faced each day with a sense of curiosity and a desire to explore the world around him. His adventurous heart, combined with his dedication to his family and country, made him a remarkable man who will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
All are welcome to attend a memorial visitation on Saturday, November 9th from 2-5 PM at the Joseph J. Smith Funeral Home in Mahopac, NY. A prayer service will follow at 5 PM with military honors.
In lieu of flowers, please make memorial contributions in his name to the Lewy Body Dementia Association, www.lbda.org.

When Anthony was a young boy, we would look out the window of Aunt Millie“s and watch the trains. We both enjoyed it. He was a wonderful person with a big heart. He surely will be missed. May you rest in peace dear cousin.
