Anthony L Asaro, age 79, of Jonesville, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 9, 2025, at MacRitchie Skilled Nursing Facility in Hillsdale. He was born on May 19, 1945, to Mario Asaro and Irene Zaramba. He married Marlene (Reh) Asaro, and she preceded him in death.
Anthony graduated from Washington Gardner High School in 1963. He worked for John Scott Drilling Company for 20 years and went on to work in maintenance for 16 years doing odd jobs for many businesses around Hillsdale County. Anthony was passionate about his yard and spent many hours making it look good. He enjoyed going to yard and garage sales, always finding the best deals.
Survivors include his daughter, Arlene (John) Napoli of Channahon, Illinois; stepson, Mark Estep; sister, Marie (Neil) Miller; four grandchildren, Nicholas Napoli, Nathan Napoli, Noah Rociles, and Adam Rociles; two nephews, Billy Hopkins Jr, and Jody Hopkins; and one niece, Kim Weaver.
Anthony was preceded in death by his parents, and daughter, Anita Rociles.
There will be no public services at this time for Anthony Asaro, per his request, cremation has taken place. Memorial contributions are suggested to Elara Caring Hospice or the Alzheimer's Association.
Arrangements are entrusted to VanHorn-Eagle Funeral Home in Hillsdale.
