Casada Funeral Home & Crematory - RawlinsIt is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Anthony Manuel (Tonio) Baca Sr., who passed peacefully passed away, surrounded by loving family on August 19, 2025 at the age of 62. Anthony lost his brave and courageous fight against cancer.
Anthony was a beloved son, husband, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle. Anthony was born in Rawlins, Wyoming to Santiago and Patsy Baca on December 4, 1962. Anthony grew up in Rawlins. On May 31, 1986, he married Patricia Tomerlin and together they had three children and he had one daughter previously, before marrying Patricia.
In Anthony's free time he loved spending time with family outdoors, hunting, fishing, and going to the casinos, but most of all he loved spending time with his kids and grandchildren.
Anthony is survived by his wife Patricia Baca of 39 years, children Anthony Baca Jr. (Kelsey), Dustin, Tiffany (Kevin) from Rawlins, Crystal Edman (Cory) from Sumrall, and his ten grandchildren. He is also survived by his siblings Albert (Geneva), Rosie (Hector), Patsy, Donna (Jose), Michael (Melissa), Maria (Javier), Charlie, and stepsisters Theresa (Mark) and Romana, his sister-in-law Nannette Pickinpaugh (Greg), Carrie Flanagan (Jemin), Bonnie Clinton (Jeff), Danielle Linn (Brian), father-in-law Robert Tomerlin, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Anthony is preceded in death by his mother Patsy and his father Santiago (Jimmy) Baca, mother-in-law Eloise and father-in-law Ronald Baker, brothers George Baca and James Garcia, sister Diane, and brother Dennis Tomerlin.
