Anthony Michael Brozek

Anthony "Tony" Brozek, age 81, of St. Louis Park, MN passed away peacefully surrounded by family on August 18, 2024. Tony was born in Idaho Springs, CO on July 28, 1943, the son of Ignatz "Jiggs" Brozek and Mary Brozek (Drees).
He grew up in Idaho Springs and graduated from Clear Creek High School in 1961. Tony loved bowling, firefighting, football, basketball, baseball and dog and horse tracks among many other things. A few of his favorite hobbies were building puzzles, fishing, gardening, crosswords, sudoku and collecting items like vintage salt and pepper shakers, baseball card & comics.
Tony was a very kind, caring, loving father, husband and grandfather. The fastest way to Tony's heart was a bag of Cheetos and a side of Diet Mt. Dew.
Tony enjoyed spending time with his family. He always had a smile on his face and never met a stranger. He will leave behind an extraordinary Legacy for his family and friends to reflect on. He always had time for a quick chat or facetime. He was incredibly witty and quick to have a funny story or joke. He had a lasting impact on his family and friends and was truly adored and loved by all that knew him.
Tony is survived by wife, Deborah; Daughters, Annie (Tommy) McCuistion, Monica (Greg) Sumner; Sons, Michael Brozek, Cory Brozek; Stepdaughters Rosa (Chris) Johnson, Josie (Sam) Weller, Kris Svee (Danny), Kelly Svee; Stepson Henry (Krissi) Monroe, Cory (Debbie) Svee, Scott (Sharon) Svee; 13 Grandchildren; Levi McCuistion, LeAnn (Jacob) Davis, Austin (Emily) McCuistion, Anthony Brozek, Kailee Brozek, John Brozek, Luna Monroe-Folstad, Taetum Monroe, Henry Monroe III, Gabriel Johnson along with 3 others in CA; 4 Great Grandchildren Cora Garrett, Aiden Brozek, Ashton Dooley, Olivia Davis as well as cousins, nieces, nephews, and numerous other family and friends. Tony is proceeded in death by his father Ignatz "Jiggs" Brozek, Mother Mary Brozek (Drees), Sisters Kathy Baisden (Brozek), Jean Marie Brozek, Nephew Anthony "Little Tony" Gray, stepson Jeff Svee, and other family and friends.
Visitation Thursday August 29,2024 from 4pm -7pm at Washburn McReavy Funeral Home in Hopkins, MN. Feel free to come and share your stories.
Mass service on Friday August 30, 2024, at 10am at Holy Family in St. Louis Park, MN. Church visitation from 9:30am-10:00 am prior to the service. Following the Mass come over to Park Tavern in St. Louis Park, MN and continue to share stories and reminisce.
