Anthony Bucco

Anthony Bucco, 70, of Little Ferry, formerly of Hoboken, passed away on Friday, June 13, 2025, at home, surrounded by his loving family. Before retiring, Anthony worked for Roadway Express as a Longshoreman and later found fulfillment in real estate, using his warm personality to serve the community of Hoboken. His love for baseball led him to coach his son's Little League team for many years, where he became a well-loved figure. Anthony had a soft spot for the overlooked-especially the furry kind. Whether it was feeding stray cats, offering a warm spot to shelter in, or tossing a few treats to the squirrels, he made sure the animals around him never felt forgotten. The neighborhood strays knew where to find a friend, and so did anyone lucky enough to know him. Anthony's kindness lives on in every paw print left behind and in the hearts of all who knew him.
Anthony is predeceased by his loving parents, Jean and John Bucco. Beloved husband of RoseAnn Bucco (nee Meicke). Loving father of Janine and John Bucco and son-in-law Michael Clampffer. Adored grandfather of Victoria and Isabella Clampffer, Abigail and Anthony Bucco, and their mother, Lisa Bucco. His love for his grandchildren was unwavering, and he never missed an opportunity to celebrate their milestones and accomplishments. Anthony leaves behind a small army of furry children and grandchildren-his cherished cats, dogs, and backyard visitors-who will surely notice his absence. All the lives he touched will forever carry a piece of his kindness.
Family and friends are invited to gather and pay their respect on Wednesday, June 18, 2025, from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm at the Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 113 South Farview Avenue, Paramus, NJ Cremation will be private.
