Gerald Arthur "Jerry" Bucco

Gerald A. "Jerry" Bucco, 75, of Clarksburg, passed away peacefully on Monday, October 21, 2024 in UPMC- Shadyside Hospital, Pittsburgh, after a long and courageous battle with myelofibrosis and leukemia.
Born November 29, 1948 in Latrobe Hospital, he was the son of the late Arthur J. Bucco Jr. & Helen M. (Troup) Bucco.
Jerry was a 1966 graduate of Saltsburg High School. He proudly served our country with the United States Army. Jerry was employed for Halliburton for 35 years, and then worked as a consultant for Texas Keystone for 6 years.
Jerry was a member of the Saltsburg Sportsman's Club, a membership shared with his late father.
He was an avid outdoorsman, and enjoyed hunting, fishing, archery, target shooting, and spending time at Hogback Sporting Clays. Jerry's favorite times were those spent with family.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Thomas Bucco.
Jerry is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Linda K. (Smith) Bucco; daughter Amanda (Tony) Bloomfield; son, Aaron (Katie) Bucco; grandchildren, Alec, Hayes, Abraham, Emerson, Kellan and Augusta; brothers, Donnie (DiAnna) Bucco, Joseph (Lou Ann) Bucco, as well as many nieces and nephews.
The family wishes to thank the caring professionals that provided excellent care for Jerry over the last several years, and especially acknowledge the compassionate staff and professionals at Shadyside Hospital's ICU.
A Celebration Of Life Tribute Service will be held on Saturday, November 16, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. in the Curran Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 701 Salt St. Saltsburg. Please join the family as they honor Jerry's life. Private interment in Edgewood Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Jerry's name to Trinity United Presbyterian Church, 18 Clarksburg Rd., Clarksburg, PA, 15725.
