On March 15, 1971, God blessed Edna Mae Mickens-Charles and Celester Bell Charles with a Babyboy, Anthony Maurice Charles. Anthony was a special addition to the Charles family. Everyone loved and cherished him. Anthony attended school in the Altheimer School District through eighth grade. After the death of his mother, Anthony and his dad moved to Las Vegas, Nevada where he attended and graduated in 1990 from Rancho High School, North Las Vegas. Anthony loved the Lord and loved spending time with his family. He showed love for the Lord and every opportunity he got; he shared that love through researching the Holy Scriptures. Every opportunity he got he would share those scriptures with everyone who would take the time to listen. Anthony would often speak about his parents and how he loved and missed them. “Those who love don’t go away, they walk beside us every day… unseen, unheard, but always near. Still loved, still missed and every year.”
