Anthony "Tony" D. Fox, 80, of Sevastopol, passed away on Wednesday April 16, 2025 at home with family by his side.
He was born on December 30, 1944 to Lawrence M. and Selma W. (Dietrich) Fox.
After Tony graduated from Sevastopol High School in 1963, he enlisted in the US Air Force in September 1964 and served until September 1968. He was stationed at Clark Air Force Base in the Philippines with temporary duties to Vietnam. On September 16, 1967, he married his long-time love, Donna Sternard, while he was stationed at K.I. Sawyer Air Force Base in Marquette, MI. After the service, he worked for Moeller's Garage and Bay Ship before joining the Boilermakers Union and spent the next 30 years working "on the road" building water tanks in many states and working at power plants. During the summer months, when possible, Donna and their three oldest children joined him in a camper and later, converted school bus. In 1981, the children finished their school year in Colorado Springs, CO. When Tony's job finished, they traveled by car to Washington to visit his brother, Aaron and family before returning to Colorado, selling the car, getting the bus from storage, and heading home. Donna's sister, Nina, and husband, Al, and their girls, Lisa and Lori, came to Colorado for a visit too. Tony enjoyed fishing and many trips to Canada, camping in Wausaukee by Greg and Edelyn, and who ever could join. He always wanted to travel somewhere. He will always be remembered as a handyman to everyone.
Tony is survived by wife of 57 years, Donna; his children, Greg (Edelyn) Fox, Tammy Fox, Tracy (Eric) Delwiche, and Nicholas Fox; grandchildren, Tyler (Megan) Fox [and his girls, Peyton and Paxton], Olivia Delwiche (Steve Thoreson) [and his son, Derek and their daughter, Everly], Jared Delwiche, Morgan Delwiche, Brooke, Baylee, Erynn and Savanna Fox; step-granddaughter, Ashley Malvitz; brothers, Lawrence (Alice) Fox, and Aaron Fox; in-laws, Darrell (Beve) Sternard, Marsha Sternard, Nina (Al) Heckler, Peter Sternard, Gene (Sharon) Sternard, Glenn (Bette) Sternard, Ken (Jill) Sternard, and Rick (Rachel) Sternard; many nieces; and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; parents-in-law, Richard and Mabel (Wilke) Sternard; brothers-in-law, infant Robert Sternard, Wenzel (Ella) Sternard, and Lester Sternard; sisters-in-law, Diane Sternard, and Christine Fox; and nephew, Charles "Chuck" Sternard.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 26, 2025, at Huehns Funeral Home with Pastor Peter Martin officiating. Burial with military honors will follow at St. John Ev. Lutheran Cemetery in Valmy.
Visitation for family and friends will be from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, April 25, 2025 at Huehns Funeral Home, with prayer service at 7:00 p.m. Visitation will resume on Saturday at 9:30 a.m. until time of service.
Please consider a donation in Tony's name to DOOR CANcer, Inc. (PO Box 423, Sturgeon Bay WI 54235).
The family would like to thank all the healthcare workers over the last couple of years, and most recently, Unity Hospice and Huehns Funeral Home. "We want to express our heartfelt appreciation for the incredible support and knowledge you've shown our family during this time."

Rest in peace cousin. We did not see much of each other after I went into the Air Force in 1962. After serving until 1966 I ended up living out west, California, Washington, and Montana so I only got back to Wisconsin occasionally, however we did have a lot in common besides being cousins as we were both served our country in the Air Force, and were both married for a long time, Tony 57 years and me coming on 56 years.
