Anthony E. Gray (Tony), 74, of Piqua, Ohio, passed away Monday, June 16, 2025, at his residence. He was born February 1,1951, in Springfield, Ohio, to the late Greek Alexander and Sylvia (Huffman) Gray. Anthony married his wife Linda Warner January 27,1987 in Springfield, OH and she survives.
Tony will be missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved him. He is survived by one Daughter: Tijuana (Eric) Randolph, Cincinnati, OH; two Brothers: Ronald Gray, Springfield, OH; David Gray, Springfield, OH; one Sister: Melissa Miller, Centralia, IL and two nieces that he raised: Talisa Warner, Piqua, OH; Trinity Warner, Piqua, OH; three Grandchildren: Ejuan Randolph, Cire Randolph and Ejuan Jr. Randolph. Tony was preceded in death by one daughter: Tyechia Nicole Gray.
Tony graduated from Springfield North High School in 1970 and was a member of Greater Love Missionary Baptist Church of Piqua and served as a deacon within the church. He enjoyed playing softball and going fishing whenever he could and in his spare time he loved to travel. He worked for 17 years at International Trucking Company of Springfield, OH, and for 35 years he was employed at Takata Fabrication in Piqua, OH; and he worked part time at the Piqua YMCA.
A Celebration of Tony's Life will be held at 1:00pm on Saturday June 21,2025 at Greater Love Missionary Baptist Church, Piqua, Ohio, with Pastor Montinas Peterson officiating, The family will receive friends Saturday June 21, 2025, from 12:00pm to 1:00 pm at the church.
Arrangements are being handled by MELCHER-SOWERS FUNERAL HOME, Piqua, Ohio.
Memorial contributions may be made in Tony's name to the Greater Love Missionary Baptist Church of Piqua, 320 Park Ave, Piqua, OH 45356.
