Anthony Michael Induisi (81) of
Dover, NH passed away peacefully at his home on September
20, 2025, surrounded by the love of his life, Minnett, after a courageous 13-year battle with
Parkinson's disease.
Born on December 12, 1943, in Brooklyn, New York, Tony was the beloved son of Rosario
"Sam" and Mary Grace Induisi. In 6th grade, his family moved to Lindenhurst, NY, where he
would meet Minnett, the girl who became his lifelong partner. Tony asked her to the junior prom,
and from then on, their story was written. He graduated from LindenhurstHigh School in 1961
and earned an Associate's Degree in Business from Farmingdale Junior College in 1963.
In October 1963, Tony proudly joined the United States Navy, completing boot camp at Naval
Station Great Lakes and later attending disbursing clerk school. On November 26, 1966, he and
Minnett were married in Lindenhurst, NY. Over his 11 years of active duty, Tony was assigned to
three ships-the USS Essex, USS Shangri-La, and USS Aeolus-which brought the young
couple to New Hampshire. While stationed in Naples, Italy, Tony earned his Bachelor's Degree
in Business Administration from the University of Maryland. Their first daughter, Natalie, was
born in Naples in 1969, and their second daughter, Maria, arrived in 1971 while Tony was
stationed in Kittery, ME. He later continued his service in the United States Navy Reserves,
retiring as a Chief Petty Officer.
Tony had a deep love for travel and adventure, which he shared with his devoted wife, Minnett.
Together, they journeyed to 88 countries around the world, creating countless memories along
the way. Their travels reflected the joy they found in one another's company and the curiosity
with which they embraced life.
Following his military career, Tony embraced entrepreneurship. He worked as a pharmaceutical
representative for Marion Laboratories, became co-owner of a printing company, and later
worked as a printing consultant until his retirement.
A passionate volunteer, Tony dedicated his time to numerous organizations, including End 68
Hours of Hunger, the United Way, the Chamber of Commerce, The Dover Children's Home, The
American Red Cross, St. John's United Methodist Church, Dover Adult Learning Center, and,
most dear to his heart, the Masons, where he was a proud member for 48 years.
Above all, Tony's greatest joy was his family. He was a devoted husband, father, and poppy. He
is survived by his loving wife of nearly 59 years, Minnett Catherine Milani) Induisi; daughters
Natalie Hanson (Chip) and Maria Richardson (Keith); grandchildren Gabrielle Vachon (Gerrick),
Griffin Hanson (Sydney Benoit), Nathan Richardson, and Kaden Richardson; and his cherished
great-grandson, Kendrick. He is also survived by his baby sister, Patricia McDurmon, and her
children Michael and Kristi (his goddaughter); his brother, Robert Induisi; his brothers-in-law
Philip, Victor, and Henry Milani and their wives; his godchildren Meghan, Artie, and Koa; his
adopted daughter Rita Sabean as well as many cousins, nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
Tony shared a special bond with his beloved cat, Al Capone, who never left his side-waiting by
the door when he went out and curling up beside him in the evenings for their nightly routine.
The family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Tony's doctors, nurses, the Veterans
Administration and especially his caregivers-Missy, Madison, Kearra, and Sharon-for the
extraordinary love and support they provided to him and his family.
