Anthony William "Tony" Kaczmarczyk

Anthony (Tony) Kaczmarczyk passed away peacefully on January 20, 2025 in Surprise Arizona at the age of 86.
Tony was born on November 24, 1938 in Chicago, Illinois to parents Anthony and Frances (Mikan).
He grew up on Chicago's "East Side" attending St. Francis deSales grammar school and graduating from Mt. Carmel High School in 1956. Tony spent many summers of his youth working on his grandfather's farm in Wisconsin.
Shortly after High School Tony began courting Joan Farmer from Gary, Indiana. Tony and Joan were married on June 27, 1959. They were married 65 years. Together they had three children. Michael (Susan), Gregory (Rhona), Tina Zilinskas (Brian). They also have eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Tony was a pipefitter/welder for Lever Brothers Company, who produced soap products in the Hammond, Indiana area. Tony retired after 36 years of employment in 1993.
Once retired Tony and Joan became snowbirds residing in Indiana and Arizona. They became permanent residents in the Scottsdale, Sun City and Surprise towns of warm Arizona in 1996.
Tony loved traveling throughout the United States with his wife Joan. He had a passion for the game of golf and was a course marshall for many years. Tony cheered on his Arizona sports teams as he gave up on his hometown Chicago teams. He enjoyed many wonderful relationships with the residents and staff of Fellowship Square where he and Joan call home.
A memorial service will be held at a later date in the Chicagoland area.
