Kathryn graduated from Claymont High School in Wilmington in 1956. In June of 1960, she married the love of her life, Thomas Francis Kaczmarczyk. Together they built a life filled with love and cherished memories until his passing in 1985.
A dedicated customer service professional, Kathryn worked her entire career at Dexsta Federal Credit Union. Over the course of 46 years, she became a valued member of the organization before retiring in 2017. Kathryn found joy in shopping and going on cruises but above all else, she loved her family deeply.
She was predeceased by her husband Tom and her sister Judy (Kowalchuk) Meixell. She is survived by her son Tom Kaczmarczyk and his wife Vicki; her grandchildren Garrett (Genevieve) Kaczmarczyk, Ryan Kaczmarczyk, Nicole (Austyn) Voyles and Zack Brincat; her brother Steve (Marilyn) Kowalchuk and her great-granddaughter Payton as well as several nieces and nephews and their families.
A visitation will be held at Mealey Funeral Home, 2509 Limestone Road, Wilmington, DE 19808 on Friday, January 17, 2025 from 10A.M. to 11A.M. with funeral services to begin at 11A.M. Burial will follow at Lawn Croft Cemetery, Linwood, PA 19061.
Her memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. May she rest in peace.
