Pvt. Anthony (Tony) Francis Liquori of Rockland, 45, passed away Friday, October 10th, 2025. Tony was born in Boston on February 13th, 1980, and was a lifetime resident of Rockland. He is survived by his son, Vincent Anthony Liquori, also of Rockland. Tony and Vinny enjoyed trips to Hampton Beach, cheering on the New England Patriots, and shared a connection that transcends words. Despite their shared tendency to swing first and ask questions later, Tony and Vinny faced life's ups and downs together and brought out the best in one another.
Tony is also survived by his beloved parents, James and MaryEllen (Ward) Liquori of Rockland, his brother, Nicholas Liquori, and his wife, Emily of Hanover, longtime companion, Kate Tyler of Brockton, maternal grandmother, Anna (Brown) Ward of Kingston, and many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Tony is predeceased by his maternal grandfather, Arthur Joseph Ward of West Roxbury, with whom he shared a deep and lasting connection.
Tony graduated from Rockland High School in 1998. After high school, he attended Massasoit Community College followed by four years in the United States Army. He served his country overseas during Operation Iraqi Freedom and was honorably discharged. Following his tour of duty, Tony continued his service to his country and fellow veterans by working with the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Bedford.
Tony's passions included his family, music, and football. His dedication to his family was second to none; he would do anything and everything for the people he loved. He was the kind of man who would give a stranger the shirt off his back without being asked. Tony was happiest in the middle of mosh pits at heavy metal shows, enjoyed playing the drums, and had a special place in his heart for the bands Pearl Jam, Tool, and Pantera. One of the greatest joys of his life was playing high school football; a passion he continued by being an unwavering supporter of the New England Patriots.
"Your light's reflected now, reflected from afar.
We were but stones, your light has made us stars".
-Light Years, Pearl Jam
The family kindly requests in lieu of flowers contributions be made in Tony's memory to Rockland CARES, 10 Daniel Teague Drive Rockland, MA 02370.
The Liquori family invites friends and loved ones to celebrate Tony's life in the Magoun-Biggins Funeral Home on Monday October 20, 2025 from 4:00-7:00 PM.

Tony was a good and loyal friend to me. Very rare these days. He was a man of great character. We loved going to shows together and the same type of metal music which is also rare these days. Tony was a worker and respected for his ethic. I miss him deeply, I loved him like a brother. He served his country well. God bless the Liquori Family.

Very Respectfully,
Gavin M. O´Brien

This never gets easy as a supporter of veterans in Bedford and also a true friend of Anthony's. He at times supported myself for sure. I wish nothing but true peace to you Vinny and the family ... take care of eachother. Very very sorry. Tomorrow comes ... Tim Caulfield
