Anthony "Tony" Mazza Sr.

Anthony "Tony" Mazza, Sr., 78, passed away peacefully with his loving family by his side on Sunday May 28, 2023 at his home in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. He was born in June 23, 1944 in Waterbury, Connecticut to the late Peter Mazza & Rose DeRosmo Mazza.
Tony was a hardworking man with a heart of gold. He proudly worked for Waterbury Hospital for over 38 years until his well-deserved retirement. He worked at Shop Rite with their security team for many years. Following his relocation to Myrtle Beach, Tony was able to enjoy the finer things in life. In his free time, Tony relished time spent making memories with family and friends. Above all else, Tony loved his family with his whole heart. He will be deeply missed but fondly remembered for his quick wit, his bright smile and the love he had for his family.
Left to cherish Tony's memory are his adoring wife of over 55 years, Mrs. Maryann Mazza of Myrtle Beach; their children, AnnMarie Wingo and her husband, Jeffrey of Conway, Roseann Nash and her husband, Sean of Myrtle Beach, Anthony Mazza, Jr., and his significant other, Billie Adams of Myrtle Beach; grandchildren, Michael Creighton, Sean Nash, Jr., Justin Creighton, Courtney Nash, Makayla Mazza, & Jordan Whitley; great-grandchildren, Emileigh Creighton, Michael Creighton, Skylar Scopino Creighton, & Lilly Creighton; sister, Marie Rinaldi of Wolcott, CT; as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins; a large, loving extended family and many supportive friends and neighbors here locally and in Connecticut.
A Celebration of Tony's life will be held and the details will be announced when finalized.
