Anthony V. Miele 97, of Hasbrouck Heights passed away on Thursday, January 8, 2026. Born in Hoboken to the late Lena and Anthony Miele. Anthony attended Stevens Institute of Technology, Rutgers University and Pace University. He was an Army veteran during the Korean War. Before retiring, he was an accountant for A.D.T. Security Systems in New York City, NY for 44 years. Anthony was an active parishioner of Corpus Christi R.C. Church in Hasbrouck Heights and served as a Eucharistic Minister. He was a Past Grand Knight of Monsignor Fitzpatrick Knights of Columbus Council 7041 in Hasbrouck Heights and a Past Faithful Navigator of Bishop O'Connor Fourth Degree Assembly in Hackensack. In 2000, he was selected as a recipient of the Jubilee Medal Pro Meritorious for Distinguished Service within the Archdiocese of Newark.

Dear brother of the late Thomas C. Miele, Sr. and his late wife Nora, the late Joseph J. Miele and his late wife Elizabeth and the late Francis G. Miele, Sr. and his late wife Teresa. Anthony is survived by his three nephews, Thomas C. Miele, Jr. and his wife Maureen, Joseph A. Miele and Francis G. Miele, Jr. and his wife Elizabeth and his several great-nieces and nephews. Also survived by his primary caregiver and close friend John Fargo and loving caregivers, Cecilia Krieger and Joy Orie.

Funeral from Costa Memorial Home Boulevard and Central Avenue in Hasbrouck Heights on Thursday, January 15th at 9 AM. Funeral Liturgy from Corpus Christi R.C. Church 260 Boulevard in Hasbrouck Heights at 10 AM. Interment following at George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus. Visitation Wednesday, January 14th from 4 - 8 PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital 501 St. Jude’s Place Memphis, TN. 38105 would be appreciated.
