Anthony was on the first African Americans to attend McGill-Toolen Catholic High School, he ultimately graduated from Mattie T. Blount High School, Class of 1969. Anthony served eleven years in the United States Army in the 82nd Airborne unit in Fort Braggs, North Carolina. Anthony's love for coins and other collectibles such as stamps brought him joy on his later years.
Anthony the third of three sons was preceded in death by his parents: Al and Juanita Robinson and brother, Michael Young.
He leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Lynnette M. Robinson; children: Anthony (Kenyatta) Robinson and Lucretia Robinson; two stepdaughters: Felecia and Ashley Franklin; brother, Al Clinton Robinson of Detroit, MI; grandchildren and greatgrandchildren.
