Anthony (Tony, Jack) Rodriquenz, 76, passed away on the morning of August 18, 2025 in Leominster surrounded by his loving family. Tony was born on July 26, 1949 in Fitchburg to parents Rita (Smith) Rodriquenz and Anthony Rodriquenz. He was one of five children, including Judy (Rodriquenz) Weldon and her husband Bill, Kathy (Rodriquenz) Bell, Carol (Rodriquenz) Marini, and Danny Rodriquenz and his wife Jeannie (Scanlon). He began his career as a lineman for New England Telephone, which later became Verizon, where he finished his career in telecommunications. Tony was a loving and devoted husband to his wife of 55 years, Nancy (Jollimore) Rodriquenz. At 15 and 16 years old, Nancy and Tony could have never imagined what a loving family they would build together when they first met at St. Bernard's High School in 1965. He leaves behind his three children, Anthony (Jamie) Rodriquenz and his wife Brenda (Cirillo), Shawn Rodriquenz and his wife Lisa (Olson), and Kristen (Rodriquenz) Smith and her boyfriend Josh Schonborg, all of Westminster; six grandchildren, Cameron Rodriquenz and his wife Courtney (Mercier), Simon Rodriquenz and his girlfriend Autumn DoVale, Olivia Smith, McKenna Rodriquenz, Ryan Smith, and Annika Rodriquenz and her boyfriend Eric Amblo; and two great-grandchildren, Caliana Rodriquenz and Carina Rodriquenz. Tony could light up a room with his witty sense of humor, and he could strike up a conversation easily with anyone he met. Family gatherings were filled with Tony's jokes and his siblings' laughter. He was known for his polished sense of style and character; he made everyone around him feel like a friend he had known for years. He was a role model and father figure to many. His family was his favorite part of his life, and they all lovingly called him "Pepe". He spent countless hours coaching baseball and hockey, leading Cub Scouts, volunteering at St. Edward's church fair in Westminster, and watching cheering competitions and marching band performances. He loved spending summers with his family at Wakeda Campground in Hampton Falls, NH, long road trips across the east coast, and going out for ice cream. He enjoyed trying his luck with lottery tickets, and made sure to tell everyone what the winning prize was each night. He was an animal lover, especially to the family's Shih Tzu puppies, a dedicated fan of golf and the Boston sports teams. He especially loved long nights chatting and playing cards with his friends, and adored driving his red '57 Chevy Bel Air. Calling hours will be held on Sunday, August 24, 2025, from 2-5 pm at Isabelle & Anderson Funeral Home, 316 Clarendon St, Fitchburg, MA 01420. There will be a funeral Mass on Monday, August 25, 2025, at 10am at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 49 Woodland St., Fitchburg, MA 01420. Burial to follow at St. Bernard's Cemetery, 96 Goodrich St., Fitchburg, MA 01420.

My sympathies to the Rodriquenz family. Tony was a great guy, one of my favorite Niemi Insurance customers.

Nancy and family, so sorry for your loss, I graduated from St Bernards as well 1968. I don't remember Anthony , he sounds like a great guy.
