Anthony C. Rush, 85, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 7th, at home with his family by his side. He was the loving husband of Gillian A. (Clarke) Rush for 60 years until her passing in 2020. Anthony was the son of the late Frank and Jesse (Cunnel) Rush.

Born in England, Anthony immigrated to the United States in 1968 in search of opportunity. He began his career working in a factory as a machine operator and continued working in manufacturing as a line technician where one would say, he made an honest living. A devoted and tireless provider for his family, Anthony often worked multiple jobs. He was exceptionally skilled with his hands and seemed to instinctively know how to fix or build just about anything. His strong work ethic, resourcefulness, and determination defined the way he lived and the example he set for his family.

He is survived by his children, Deborah Senra (DeWayne DeLoney), Lynda Athaide (late Kenneth Athaide), Stephen Rush, and Amanda DeCesare. He was a loving grandfather to seven grandchildren: Tina McDonald (Michael McDonald), Roy Morrow, Anthony Morrow, Corey Rush, Victoria Cornell, Shaun Rush and Christian Rush and a cherished great-grandfather to five great-grandchildren: Abbigail Rush, Noah Rush, Michael McDonald, Wyatt Morrow-Early, and Adalyn McDonald. He is also survived by his sister, Daphne (Rush) Ludgate, who resides in England. Anthony is predeceased by his son Stewart Rush and a sister Joyce (Rush) Lacroix.

No services will be held at this time. Anthony will return to England, where burial will take place alongside his wife.
