ANTHONY M., age 51, October 21, 2023. Devoted son of Anthony J. Santaniello and the late Kathleen Maria Santaniello, (nee Curci). Dear brother of Christopher Santaniello; also survived by cousins Marco (Gabrielle) Malandra and John (Annette) Malandra and other cousins.
A Passionate Urbanist, Anthony had a long career with the City of Philadelphia eventually rising within the Streets Department. He loved cooking, fine wines and spending time with family and friends. On his travels he liked to stop at farm stands and wineries. He will be remembered always with the kindness and love he offered to so many. If you are thinking of Anthony, have a glass of fine wine while sitting in a sunny place. We will miss you!
Relatives and friends are invited to his Visitation, Friday evening, October 27th 7:00 to 9:00 P.M. at Vincent Gangemi Funeral Home, Inc. 2232-2240 S. Broad St. (at Wolf St.).
Funeral Mass Saturday morning, October 28th, 10:30 A.M. at Annunciation B.V.M. Church, 10th and Dickinson Streets.
His interment will be private.

I did not know Anthony passed.away.I would have been there.Im so So sorry.He was a great
Son and Brother and friend to all his friends.He will be truly missed....His mom was
my friend for 35 years...I'm so so sorry to his

Anthony and I worked together at the Philadelphia City Planning Commission. We later found out that we both attended Central High School and became fast friends. Anthony had an unmatched passion for work and never hesitated to take a stand. We contacted each other occasionally after I left the Commission and he always had positive energy. Going to miss you little Bro. Rest Easy

I had the pleasure of working with Anthony for many years. We also shared an alma mater. Always a delight to be around, he will be sorely missed. Prayers and blessings to the family.
