Anthony "Tony" James (Stoddard) Savage, age 62 of Cloquet, Minnesota, with deep sadness, passed away on Monday, February 23, 2026, at Essentia Health – St. Mary's Medical Center in Duluth, Minnesota. Tony was born on February 7, 1964, in Duluth. He lived a full life, enjoying hunting, fishing, and just being outside. Tony lived in Cloquet and the surrounding area his whole life. He graduated from Cloquet High School in 1982 and later attended Fond du Lac Tribal and Community College receiving his associate's degree in chemical dependency. Tony was a proud member of the National Guard. He wore many hats, which included working as an OTR Truck Driver, a firearm safety instructor, working at the Mash-Ka-Wisen Treatment Center, and as a volunteer EMR firefighter for the Cloquet Area Fire District. Tony was a proud descendant of Fond du Lac Band of Lake Superior Chippewa. In his free time, he loved plowing snow, mowing grass, woodworking, and being out in nature. Tony will be deeply missed.

Tony is survived by the love of his life, Jill Savage, of Cloquet; children, Jessica, Madyline, and Sabrina; honorary child, Alyssa; honorary grandchildren, Aliva and Kendrik; siblings, Clarence and Henry Maki; and numerous cousins and nieces. He was preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy Savage; grandparents, Dave and Mary Ellen Savage; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
