Anthony M. Silva

Anthony M. Silva, 52, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 17, 2025, In Harrisville, RI, after a long, courageous year of cancer treatment. Anthony was born in Stoughton, MA, and grew up in North Easton, MA. He was a graduate of Oliver Ames High School Class of 1992. Anthony lived a life marked by hard work, loyalty, and deep love for family and friends.
Anthony spent 16 years as a Heavy Equipment Operator with Costello Dismantling of West Wareham, MA. He was a proud member of the International Union of Operating Engineers Local 4, where his dedication and skill earned him the respect of his peers.
Anthony's passions extended far beyond the job site. He had a lifelong love for motorcycles and cars, often spending hours working on them with care and precision. When summer weekends arrived, he could often be found at Pascoag Reservoir-also know as Echo Lake-relaxing on his boat and enjoying the water. These moments were cherished times of peace and camaraderie.
He was a part of the community at Cady's Tavern, Glocester, RI., where he shared laughter and stories with close friends who became like family. Whether riding down back roads or gathered around a table with loved ones, Anthony found joy in connection and togetherness.
Anthony is deeply missed by those who knew him best. He is survived by his daughter; Rachel Silva of West Bridgewater, MA, his parents; Diane and Manuel Silva of Bridgewater, MA, and his sister; Lisa(Silva) Flecchia and her husband Stephen of Holbrook and their children, Maxwell and Sophia. He was predeceased by his Uncle, Edward Silva and survived by wife Susan Caverly of Brier, WA. Also survived by his Uncle, James Silva and his wife Deborah of Abington, MA and his Aunt, Mary Ann Rattenni and her husband Robert of N. Smithfield, RI. Anthony is survived by and had been lovingly cared for by his girlfriend, Tina Pasquerillo of Harrisville, RI. Anthony had a wide network of friends, including his best friend, William Bennett, James Cullerton and Larry Comtois, all of which he fondly called his "brothers".
Anthony was loved deeply by his family and many friends. May his memory bring comfort to all who knew him.
A celebration of life will be held at a later Date. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Boucher Funeral Home, 272 Sayles Ave. Pascoag.
