Anthony Slogesky Obituary
Anthony "Skip" Slogesky, 71, of Manchester, beloved husband of Melinda Slogesky, passed away on Thursday, February 15, 2024, after a prolonged illness. He was born in Manchester, the son of the late Anthony and Lillian (Bajoris) Slogesky. Skip enjoyed a career as a real estate appraiser for many years, both in Connecticut and Florida.
Skip will be remembered for his love of sports. He enjoyed coaching his children's teams and played in countless sporting leagues. Through this love he cultivated many lifelong friendships. Those who knew him best will always remember his wry sense of humor. He always seemed to have a twinkle in his eye and a trick up his sleeve.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Benjamin Slogesky and his wife Sara of South Windsor, and Amy Fraser and her husband Chris of Tolland; and his pride and joy, his beloved five grandsons, James, Colton, Bryce, Colin, and Ryan. We love you and you will forever be in our hearts.

Dear Melinda, Ben, and Amy....
Skip was a dear friend and one on THE BEST softball players I ever had the pleasure to play with. He glided while patrolling the outfield and his bat control allowed him the ability to get to any field....with power.
The things I will miss about him most are his sense of humor, his smile, and his friendship. He was a kind a caring guy with never a bad word to say about anyone.
Lois and I are sad that we will not be able to make the Celebration of Life. We will be on a plane headed for Key West. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all!
