Tony (Smitty) Smith, age 70 of Malvern passed away Friday April 4, 2025 at his home.
He was born January 23, 1955 in Tulip, Arkansas the son of Martin Green and Allah Marie Asbury Smith.
Tony was retired from the sawmill industry working in maintenance for many years, was a member of Gospel Light Baptist Church, loved to hunt and fish with Buck and Trevor, and loved being with his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Jenann Smith, and sister Brenda Rowan.
Survivors are his children, Leslie Smith (Tyree), Toni Pumphrey (Briar), Buck Smith, Ruth Smith (Ethan Chambers), step-children, Megan Sutton, Josiane Morehead, and Frankie Wilson all of Malvern, Brothers, John Smith and Phillip Smith (Jo) all of Tulip, and Tommy Smith (Lourene) of Malvern, sister, Donna Smith of Aztec, New Mexico, grandchildren, Quinton, Aaliyah, Trevor, Kolbyn, Kyler, and Camdyn and great granddaughter, Sofia, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 12th, from 10-11am at Gospel Light Baptist Church-Malvern, with the service following at 11am, with Bro. Jon Horton officiating.
