Anthony "Tony" Super, 86, of Yale, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, June 10, 2025.
He was born on July 6th, 1938, in Detroit to Alexander and Josephine Super.
He married Diane Kamyszek on September 24, 1960. She preceded him in death on May 25, 1981.
Tony proudly served in the United States Marine Corps from 1957-1959. He worked as a blanchard in the tool and die industry for over 40 years and retired from Chrysler's in 1998. He loved being on his farm, trips to the casino, and attending his grandchildren's sporting activities.
He is survived by a son, Scott Super; three daughters, Michele (Dan) Siegel, Richele (John) Engel, and Renee (Jeremy) Palmateer; his girlfriend, Cynthia Rush; grandchildren, Karina (Chuck) Goode, Kevin Marter, Alexander Super, Chelsie Nichols (Trevor Wilson), Brianna (Chase) Vogras, Nicholas Engel (Austin Fisher), Holly Engel (Riley Besko), Caden (Jenna) Palmateer, and Sophia Siegel; great-grandchildren, Lauren Green (Cole Robinson), Liam and Talan Ryan, Gracie and Carter Kennedy, Skylar Vogras, Charlie, Aria and Layne Goode, Isabella, Eliana and baby boy Palmateer; brother, George (Marcia) Super, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his wife, he was also preceded in death by a son, Jeff; a daughter, Kelly; a great-granddaughter, Nina Palmateer; three brothers, Larry, Frank, and Jim; two sisters, Rosann and Veronica; and his beloved dog, Daggett.
Pallbearers will be Nick and John Engel, Scott and Alex Super, and Caden and Jeremy Palmateer.
The family honors the memory of Tony and invites you to visit and share memories Sunday, June 15, 2025, from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Kaatz Funeral Directors, Yale, with rosary devotion at 6:00 p.m. Service will be 10:30 a.m. Monday at Kaatz Funeral Directors, Yale, with 9:30 a.m. visiting. Fr. Tom Kuehnemund, pastor will officiate. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Yale.
Memorials are suggested to "Wishes of the Family".
