Anthony P. "Tony" Valek Jr.

Anthony "Tony" P. Valek, Jr. passed away November 28, 2025. He was the loving companion of 32 years to Deborah L. Stettler. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Lorraine (Gross) and Anthony Valek, Sr. Tony graduated from Dieruff High School and attended LCCC. Tony worked for many years as a machinist. He was a life member of the Fullerton Fire Co. and later joined the West Catty Fire Co. Tony enjoyed running, and ran in the Philadelphia distance run several times. He even ran a "Girls on the Run" 5K with his granddaughter. He enjoyed collecting arrowheads and old bottles, where he and his brother would spend hours scouring through old fields and farmland. He loved helping others and would even cut many of his neighbor's lawns, and he and Deb made Sunday dinner for several older neighborhood friends. He will be deeply missed.

Survivors: daughter- Jessica George and husband Ryan; companion- Deborah Stettler; granddaughter- Kaylyn George; brothers- Joe Valek and wife Jamie, Bob Valek and wife Rovena. He was predeceased by his brother- Jim Valek and sister- Lori Moyer.

A viewing will be held on Thursday, December 4th 6-8PM and Friday, December 5th 10-11AM with a Service to follow at 11AM in Kohut Funeral Home, Inc. 950 N. Front St. Allentown, PA 18102. Burial to follow in Resurrection Cemetery, Allentown.
