PIASECKI, Antoni. January 3, 2024. Age 94. Beloved husband of Emilia and the late Maria (nee Szewczyk) (1996). Loving father of Wesley, Donna and Mark (Malgorzata). Proud and loving grandfather of Michael and Mark Jr. Survived by his two siblings Josephine and Kazimierz. Preceded in death by his parents Wincenty and Marianna, as well as his siblings Janina and Jan.
Antoni (Tony) was born in Poland. As a child, he and his entire family were taken into forced labor to Germany during World War II. After many years, they returned to their beloved home to rebuild. Later, Antoni arrived in the United States, looking to build a better home for his wife and his future child (because Maria was pregnant). Antoni was not only a very hard worker, and a great provider, he was also a very religious God fearing man.
After Maria passed, he was blessed to marry a second time to Emilia and lived happily in Florida for many years, enjoying retirement and his favorite pastime fishing. Sadly, Alzheimer's shortened his stay on this earth, but we know he is back with his family in heaven, watching over us.
Visitation Friday, January 12th, 3-8pm with a 6pm Rosary at Wujek-Calcaterra & Sons. 36900 Schoenherr Rd. at Metro Parkway (16 Mile). Instate Saturday, 10:30am until the 11am Funeral Mass at Our Lady Of Czestochowa Church, 3100 18 Mile Rd, Sterling Heights.
