William H. Piasecki, born to Evelyn and William Piasecki on January 10, 1947, passed away on September 1, 2025 at age 78 after a long struggle with cancer. He was born and raised in Toledo, OH and attended Whitmer High School.
In 1976 he met his future wife, Wanda, in Milwaukee, WI and they moved to Toledo. He was a welder at American Ship Building. Bill and Wanda were married in 1980 and moved to Denver, CO in 1981. Bill held multiple welding jobs. He retired at the age of 62 and began his metal art business. Bill and Wanda enjoyed participating in craft fairs and selling his art around the Denver area. He would tell everyone "I do the cool stuff". But his greatest joy came from gifting his art to the people he loved and those he met along his journey. In 2019, Bill and Wanda left Denver and moved back to Ohio to enjoy spending time with his sons and grandchildren.
Bill was also known for the pride he took in his health and body. He was dedicated to weight training and started at an early age at Torio's health club, which was located in West Toledo. He held multiple belts in Taekwondo and practiced faithfully. His final workout was July 13, 2025.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents, Evelyn Adams and William Piasecki, sister Sandy Nohl, brother Jim Adams and niece Tracy Groshon. He is survived by his wife, Wanda, sons Bill (Lisa), Jim (Jade), and grandchildren, Lorna (Scott), Carter, Austin, and Lucia (Lucy), great-grandchild, Emmett, sister Dianne (Billy), along with multiple nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
He was loved by many and will be missed by all but his memories will live on through his weights and his artwork.
