Antonia's Funeral Mass Livestream
Antonia R. Gamboa 92, of Plainview passed away on Monday, September 16, 2024. Funeral mass will be held at 10:00 A.M. Friday, September 20, 2024 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Interment will follow in Plainview Cemetery.
A rosary will be held at 6:30 P.M. Thursday, September 19, 2024 at the funeral home.
Antonia was born on May 8, 1932 in Laredo, Texas to Auscencio & Manuela Rangel. She married Jose Gamboa on April 30, 1950 in Laredo, Texas. They were married for 30 years. She enjoyed football and was an avid Dallas Cowboys and Notre Dame fan. Antonia was famous for her cooking especially her tortillas and tamales
She was preceded in death by her parents; one infant daughter, Rosita Gamboa; two brothers, Enrique and Pascal Rangel and one sister, Martha Rangel.
Antonia is survived by four sons, Johnny Gamboa & wife Adelita of Plainview, Gerardo Gamboa & wife Amelia of Hale Center, Raul Gamboa & wife Amy of Flower Mound and Lewis Gamboa & Wife Laura of Houston; four daughters, Leticia Flores of Plainview, Anita Chavez & husband Mike of Lubbock, Hope Gamboa of Plainview and Ramona Sullins & husband Rodney of Bentonville, AR; one brother, Guadalupe Lopez of Killeen; one sister, Ernestina Lopez of Laredo; twenty two grandchildren, forty eight great grandchildren and six great great grandchildren.
