Antonio "Tony" D. Penna, born August 23, 1930, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on July 19, 2025, at the age of 94.

He resided in Port Deposit, MD but was originally from Camden and formerly of Fort Pierce, FL; Verga, NJ; and Gibbstown, NJ.

He was the beloved husband of Mary Penna and the late Geraldine Penna. He was also a devoted father to Julia Hyde (William), Antonio Penna Jr. (Terri), Stephen Penna, and Gerri Penna (nee Rock). He was a loving Grandfather to Kimberly, Bradley, Kristen (Gregory), Jeffrey, Dylan, Michael and Great-Grandfather to Logan, Sophia, and Braydee. He was the brother to Edith, and the late Alfonso, Dominick, Ginger, Luigina, Mary, Michael and Rose. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Tony served in the US Army as a paratrooper in the 101st Airborne Division during the Korean conflict. He worked in restaurants while attending the Radio Electronics Institute in Philadelphia. He worked for Franklin X-Ray installing X-Ray equipment throughout the Delaware Valley area. He then moved on to working in RCA where he traveled the world designing, installing and maintaining computer equipment until retirement.

During retirement, he continued to travel, eventually settling in Florida before moving back north.

The viewing on Tuesday from 9:15am to 10:45am at St. Joachim Parish, Annunciation BVM Church 601 W. Browning Rd. Bellmawr, NJ 08031. Funeral Mass to follow at 11am. Entombment, New St. Mary's Mausoleum, Bellmawr.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made in Tony's memory to Good Shepherd Catholic Church or Good Shepherd St. Vincent DePaul Society, 810 Aiken Avenue, Perryville, MD 21903
