April Branim, age 52, a lifelong resident of Lorain passed away on Thursday, January 13, 2022, at Regency West Health Center in Middleburg Hts., Ohio after a long illness.She was born on January 22, 1969, in Lorain, Ohio to James and Rose (nee Harsar) Branim and was a 1987 graduate of Clearview High School. April made her career as a secretary for All Service Answering Service and the Cleveland Clinic.April enjoyed playing cards, karaoke, cooking, and spending time with her family.She is survived by her children, Christian Clayton, Damien Clayton, Cheyenne Branim, Quentin Horton, Gabrielle Branim, and Jazmyn Boone; grandchildren, Christian Clayton Jr., Savanna Bacon, Gloriana Maldonado, Ava Clayton, Ryleigh Horton, Quentin Horton Jr., Damien Clayton Jr., Santana Bacon, Karmyn Horton, Nyla Davis, Ayce Clayton, and Messiah Davis; mother, Rose Branim; and her siblings, Tina Celestino, James Ross Branim Jr., Dawn Corcino, and Albert Branim.April was preceded in death by her father, James Branim; and her sister, Susie Branim.The family will receive friends on Sunday, January 16, 2022, from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. in the Dovin and Reber Jones Funeral & Cremation Center, 1110 Cooper Foster Park Road, Amherst. Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 17, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. in the funeral center.
