April Marie (Loveless) Brummett, 48, of New Castle, Indiana, passed away suddenly at home on Wednesday, October 1, 2025. She was born on October 6, 1976, to Don and Linda Loveless, and was a proud graduate of New Castle High School in 1995.
In her younger years, April worked at Motivated Ladies, Pizza King, and the State Hospital. She later went on to work as a CNA, caring for the elderly and disabled. April had a huge heart and was always living in the service of others. Her greatest achievement was becoming the proud mother of her two beautiful children, Devin and Alexis. April had a vibrant personality and a heart of gold. She was kind, compassionate, and caring—always with the best intentions for those she loved. She adored her dog, Harley, and enjoyed fashion, jewelry, and crafting, especially anything that sparkled. She also loved riding motorcycles, playing euchre, and spending family vacations on the lake, where some of her happiest memories were made on a houseboat. April lived hard, but she loved harder.
Her memory lives on through her husband, Jeff Brummett; her children, Devin Solomon (Alyssa) and Alexis (Dalton) Mason; her stepdaughter, Savannah; her grandchildren, Dawson and Aubrey Solomon; her parents, Don and Linda Loveless; her sister, Amber (Chris) Dishman; her niece, Chloe Dishman; and her aunts, Laura (Mike) Perdue and Linda Adams. She is also survived by her cousins Autumn (Tim) Niles, Matt (Maren) Perdue, Adam (Tori) Perdue, Trisha (Shane) Newton, Michael Adams, and Kristen (Kris) Adams, along with many beloved friends.
She was preceded in death by her lifelong best friend, Gina Pierce; her grandparents, Aurita Loveless, Donald E. Loveless, Ruby George, and Carl & Betty Estes. April will be remembered for her joyful spirit, her creativity, and the way she brought fun and laughter to every moment. Her memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who loved her.
