April Marie Coppock

April Marie Coppock passed away on May 26, 2024 at age 43. She was born on March 26, 1981 in Midwest City, OK to Karen Sue Hollinsworth and Ronald Jack Coppock. April was baptized at St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church in Harrah, OK. April grew up in Mustang, OK with her mother, Karen and Step-father, Bob where she graduated from Mustang High School in 1999. During school, April enjoyed band, playing the flute and piccolo, softball and choir. She had a natural maternal instinct with all the neighborhood kids especially her baby sister, Tara, who all loved and looked up to her. April was married and divorced and had no children. She faced many adversities in her life but still had a kind and generous heart. She had an avid love for animals and had many pets and an amazing talent crafting handmade jewelry of genuine stones and silver.
April is survived by her mother, Karen Hollinsworth and husband, Bob of Mustang, OK, and father, Ronald Coppock of Oklahoma City, OK; brother, John Coppock and wife, Hillary of Tyler, TX, niece, Kaitlyn; sisters, Tara Jimenez and husband, Craig, niece, Camryn and nephew, Caige, of Blanchard, OK, Lea Ingold, Mechele Whitsette and husband Jerry, niece, Kristin Belt, niece, Hailee Newton of Texas, Anitra Altom and husband Josh, niece, Rilynn, nephew, Landon of Texas; Aunt, Geri Miller and wife, Maril of Colorado Springs, OK, Uncle Steve Miller and wife, Kathy of Midwest City, OK, Uncle, Johnny Miller and wife, Marie-Therese of Salt Point, NY, Aunt, Judy Beck and husband, Greg of Leavenworth, KS, Aunt, Delaine Huntley and husband, Jerry of Oklahoma City, OK; Uncle, Larry Coppock and Uncle, Scott Jones both of Oklahoma City, OK; grandmother, Kathy Miller of Oklahoma City. OK.
April is also survived by many cousins; Jenni King, Billy Miller, Brenda Miller, Stevie Miller, Katherine Smith, Stephanie Miller, Crystal Miller, Warren Beck, Lisa Burris, Michelle Miller, Meghan Miller, John V. Miller, Erin Miller, Elizabeth Miller, Branden Huntley and Clayton Huntley.
April is preceded in death by her grandparents, Warren and Ruth Miller and Patricia Jones.
A recitation of the Rosary will be held at McNeil's Funeral Service on Monday June 3rd at 5 p.m. at McNeil's Funeral Service in Mustang, OK. A funeral mass will be offered Tuesday June 4th at 11 a.m. at Holy Spirit Catholic church in Mustang. Burial will follow at Mustang Cemetery.
