“Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” Matthew 11:28
April Lanette Woullard Poole was born to the late Elder Arthur Noel Woullard and Ruth Anna Woullard on April 18, 1963.
She was baptized at an early age by her father, then again by the late Elder Willis Carter.
April graduated from Petal High School and immediately enrolled in and graduated from Pearl River Community College as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). April’s nursing career spanned over forty-two years. She loved taking care of and advocating for her elderly patients.
April married Rodney O’Neal Poole on December 27, 1993, and was the mother of two beautiful, kind-hearted children, BriAnna and Neal. She loved cooking and celebrating holidays with her family and friends. She cooked Thanksgiving dinner every year as a way to bring all of her family and friends together.
April transitioned to be with her heavenly Father on Monday, September 22, 2025, at her home.
April leaves to cherish her memory, her loving and caring husband of thirty-two years, Rodney O’Neal Poole; two children, BriAnna Unshea and Rodney O’Neal (Neal). She also leaves behind ten brothers, Arthur (Liz), Jerry (Lahoma), Norman (Yvonne), Roscoe, Douglas, Martie (Sharon), Therrell, Sherman (Sonya), Luther (Queen), Kenneth (Sebrina) and Travon “TJ” Woullard; four sisters, Lori (Calvin), Martitia, Sharmaine and Mekiletta “Nicki”; three sisters-in-law, Shirline Magee, Marcia Ramsey and Janie (Rev.
