Kathleen Ann Comeaux

Kathleen Ann Comeaux, of Carriere, MS, passed away on Monday, September 22,
2025, at the age of 76. She was born on April 17, 1949 in New Orleans, LA to the
late John Desiree Bonnecarrere, Sr. and late Iris Higgins Bonnecarrere.
Kathleen is beloved by her sole partner, Frank Valley. She is the adored mother of her son,
Robert (Annette) Balsamo, Jr., daughter Angela (Paul) Seals, daughter Maria
(Cruz) Guidry. She is the proud grandmother of Brandy (William) Riggenbach,
Blake (Taelor) Balsamo, Nicholas Seals, and Ryan Seals. The loving sister of the
late Michael Bonnecarrere, late John Bonnecarrere, Jr., late Bruce (Sharon)
Bonnecarrere, and Lee (Amanda) Bonnecarrere. She also leaves behind a host of
extended family members and friends, all of whom she loved.
Kathleen attended St. Rita Catholic School in Harahan, LA, and Riverdale High School in Jefferson, LA.
In her professional life, she was a dedicated postal worker. Later, she decided to
become a Certified Pharmacy Technician, and was employed by Walgreens, until
her retirement. She was loved by her customers and associates. Kathleen was an
animal lover her entire life. In her house full of her beloved cats & dogs, she
would also volunteer to foster cats and kittens from her local Pearl River County
Animal Shelter. She truly believed in her Christian Faith, and loved the Lord. She
believed in helping people anyway she could. She would volunteer to take people
in need to the doctor, and she would also give her time helping at the Crossroads
Food Pantry.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Saturday,
October 4, 2025 from 10:00am to 11:00am with food and fellowship, and
Memorial Service from 11:00am to 12:00pm at McDonald Funeral Home located
at 401 West Canal Street Picayune, MS 39466.
